MCP server documentation​

The BTG Empresas Developers portal now includes a dedicated section for the Model Context Protocol (MCP) — the open standard that lets an AI assistant, such as Claude Code, connect directly to BTG banking operations.

The section is available under the AI menu and covers:

  • What is MCP — introduction to the protocol and to the BTG Empresas MCP server
  • How the MCP server works — authentication delegated to BTG Id, read and write operations, and the flow of a single call
  • Local use with Claude Code — step-by-step guide for connecting Claude Code to the MCP server
  • Security and best practices — risks of connecting banking operations to an AI assistant and how to mitigate them

Portal in English​

The BTG Empresas Developers portal is now available in English. The language selector in the navigation bar lets you switch between Portuguese, Spanish, and English on any page.

What is translated:

  • Integration documentation — getting-started guides, tutorials, and webhook documentation
  • MCP documentation — the entire new AI and MCP section
  • API reference — sidebar categories and endpoint descriptions for Banking, Business Account, FIDC, SCF, Solar, and other products
  • Portal interface — navbar, breadcrumbs, pagination, and other navigation elements
